Hummus
Hummus is a popular Mediterranean dip that is high in protein, fiber, folate and amino acids. Hummus is a wonderful appetizer served with vegetables and crackers, and makes a healthy alternative to mayonnaise and mustard on sandwiches and bread.

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup Tarazi Sesame Tahini Sauce
- 2 Cans Garbanzo beans we prefer S&W brand
- 1/3 cup Liquid from the canned garbanzo beans
- 1/4 teaspoon Cumin
- 1/2 clove Garlic
- 1 to 1 1/2 Teaspoons Kosher Salt
Directions
Using a food processor or blender…
- Mince garlic clove
- Add lemon juice and kosher salt, blend
- Add remaining ingredients and blend for 2 to 3 minutes to a smooth paste. Add additional salt and lemon juice to taste.
Additionally, you can flavor hummus to your liking by using ingredients such as additional garlic, red peppers, olives, or pine nuts. Get creative!
